Expect these frequent heavy thunderstorms and flooding to continue for a while, thanks to La Niña.
Update: This graphic from the NWS shows what the storms did to the Cedar River in Iowa: they drove it some twelve feet (!) above the record flood stage. Some of those same storms are reaching central Indiana as I write this.
